Alert - Important Information for Daniels Scholars

The Daniels Fund has instituted maximum limits on the amount paid toward each Scholar’s indirect costs, which include books and supplies, personal expenses and travel. In addition, each Scholar must notify us in writing if they are currently uninsured and have enrolled in the school’s health insurance plan. Without notification the Daniels Fund will not pay towards this expense.

Effective Immediately:
Books & Supplies:  Capped at $1200 annually, or $600 per semester. 
Quarter students will receive $500 per quarter

Personal Expenses: 
Capped at $1800 annually, or $900 per semester

Travel Costs:  Capped based on geographical tiers:

• In state capped at $800 annually, or $400 per semester
• In region capped at $800 annually, or $400 per semester
• Pacific capped at $2000 annually, or $1000 per semester
• West capped at $1200 annually, or $600 per semester
• Central capped at $1200 annually, or $600 per semester
• East capped at $1500 annually, or $750 per semester
